For a change we started out today’s session with sambo. So we threw our jackets on and worked on 5 classes of leg vs leg attacks.
We also worked on a very very low single, shoulder to ankle. We then spent about 20 minutes discussing and working through some concepts of balance, both when standing alone and when engaged..
We followed up the drilling with 2 rounds of combat freestyle sambo.
We ended our session with 10, 10 second rounds of stormfighting. As always this form of combat is a learning experience.
